Itinerary

You arrive at the international airport in Cape Town and are picked up by Kevin and driven to your accommodation. Enjoy the first hours on the African continent and relax in the pool. At a joint dinner you get to know Kevin better and can exchange ideas with him.

Depending on the weather, there is a lot to see today. We start with the famous prison island Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years in captivity on 4 square metres. Weather permitting, we continue by gondola up Table Mountain. Photos and a small lunch up here are a welcome and peaceful break from the bustling Mother City, which can be admired in all its beauty from here.
From Table Mountain you can also see the next two stops: Lions Head and the Waterfront. At the last stop, you can shop in the countless souvenir shops or end the evening with a cool drink at the harbour.

Today is dedicated to the history of Cape Town. You will follow the historical footsteps of the city and visit the castle and the Bo Kaap district. You will be able to admire the city from the ship just in time for sunset.

Today is a true lucky day for nature lovers.
After an approx. 1-hour drive you reach your destination, the Cape Peninsula. On the Cape Peninsula you will visit Camps Bay, a small town famous for its white beach and the view of the mountain range, also called the 12 Apostles. In Hout Bay you can stroll through a small craft market before continuing to Seal Island. The name already tells you what to expect: seals as far as the eye can see, small ones, big ones and, with a bit of luck, newborn ones. Even though it is not the southernmost point in Africa, Cape Point is always worth a visit. Steep cliffs and a lighthouse at the southernmost point of the peninsula await you. The Cape of Good Hope is also visited on this breathtaking excursion.
Penguins in South Africa? There is and you will visit the colony at Boulders Beach, where you can put your feet in the water to cool off a bit. In Fish Hoek there is a small stopover with delicious ice cream before we slowly make our way back. The day is slowly coming to an end and the last stop of the day is Kalk Bay. Here you can end the day in the beautiful restaurant Brass Bell with fresh fish and cool drinks.

Today you will learn a lot about viticulture and ostrich farms. Kevin will drive with you to Philadelphia, one of the original wine-growing regions near Cape Town. Then it's on to the Durbanville Hills. Taste delicious wines and stroll through the vineyards.
Afterwards, visit an ostrich farm. Learn more about how the animals are raised and why they are so important to South Africa. Do you dare to stand on an ostrich egg? Go ahead and try it out!
In the evening you can marvel at the sunset from Blouberg - with Table Mountain as a backdrop.

Century City is a 250ha suburb of Cape Town that has only developed in recent years. It is home to office and residential buildings for 65,000 people. The architecture is unique and has been broken up with canals. Kevin takes you on a boat tour through this district. Afterwards you have the opportunity to stroll in the Canal Walk, the largest shopping centre in South Africa.
Continue to the exhibition The long March of Freedom. More than 100 life-size bronze statues of the most influential people in South African history can be admired here.
The day ends with an excursion to the largest bird park in Africa. You can visit more than 3,000 birds and 400 different species. The monkeys in the neighbouring area are also looking forward to seeing you.
