Wellington Wines: The impressive history of three exceptional wineries laid the foundation for Wellington Wines, dating back to 1906, 1907 and 1941 when Wellington Co-operative Winery Ltd, Bovlei Co-operative Ltd and Wamakersvallei Winery were established.
The individual successes of the wineries, along with their shared passion for wine and desire to enrich the Wellington wine industry, led to the merger of the three wine giants and the creation of Wellington Wines.
Bosman: The Bosman family has a winemaking tradition in Wellington that spans 8 generations. Their proud heritage is the foundation for innovation and sustainability, the natural progression in what they do.
The first Bosman to reach the Cape of Good Hope was Hermanus Lambertus Bosman in 1707, who was appointed “sieketrooster” (keeper) of the Drakenstein community, laying the foundation for a tradition of caring that has been passed down through generations.
